William has been sold and we wish him the best with his new person. I am sure they are going to have fun together! It was tough to let him go but we know they will be very happy together!

Dancing Sky's Braveheart  papers say Gladiator though, we think Braveheart is better.

 Fiero (Andalusian) x Maryea (Lippizan)

William - 3 year old gelding -15.2+ hands

Registered as a Half Andalusian, but can be registered as an Iberian Warmblood as well as a half-lippizan

William scored a 71% on his in hand dressage class the other day and got first place out of fourteen horses. We could not have been more proud of him! No conditioning just thought it would be fun and good experience for him, so cleaned him up loaded him on the trailer and low and behold he brought home a blue ribbon!! He was the youngest horse in his class!

Way to go William!!

William arrived from Minnesota the day after Halloween in 2005.  He came off the trailer and just looked around as if to say "wow this is different, when do we eat?" His registered name is Gladiator, but in that instant John and I decided to change it to Braveheart.  He was still a stud colt when he arrived and I was planning on keeping him a stallion as long as possible. That was until I walked in one day and saw him mounting Kenzie.  That made up my mind right then and there.  So we gelded him in February of 06.  I would like to point out that the vet was very impressed with William and kept asking if I really wanted to geld him.  Unfortunately at the old place we just did not have a good way to house a stallion and so we made the very tough decision to geld this young man.

William showing off for the camera June 2007

Since William just turned three this year I have only been on him about four times. He know to move forward, stop and turn. I have not done too much beyond that as I do not want to overstress his joints. I planned to take him on a trail ride with his favorite horse in the world Susie, but John and I have not managed that as of yet. It is still on the to do list.   He has never bucked while I have been on board.

William is the biggest cuddle bug.  He will not leave his stall in the morning until I give him his hug.  He thinks he is a very large dog, and is always aware of where the humans are.  In fact he has been pouting becuase he does not think he is getting enough attention at the moment.

William wanting attention the day Callista was born. He thought I was paying WAY TOO much attention to her!

William has three wonderful gates and he just glides as he moves. He is truly built to be an upper level dressage horse.  He can jump, but does not seem to like jumping as much as Rio and Kenzie as he seems to like keeping all four feet close to the ground.  Will is the low man in the pecking order of the herd and is not very pushy.  He just hangs out and plays, and gets along with everyone.

SOLD!

He is our very special young man and he will not go to just anyone. Videos are available upon request.

Photos From late January 2007, Sorry about the mud he just seems to love it! He was also going through a growth spurt as well so is a little gangly.
