Oro De Luz Dia - Dia - June 2000 - 1/2 Andalusian 1/2 Paint mare  (Fiero x Crystal Daybreak (APHA))

Home Up Susie Morning Star Dia

Dia was one of the horses I brought with me from Minnesota and was in foal with Mackenzie, luckily that was in May so she had plenty of time to settle in before Kenzie put in her appearance.  Dia is a very wonderful and athletic mare.

Dia has wonderful confirmation and beautiful movement. The pictures do not show how she glows in the sun.  Everyone that has met her has entranced by her beauty.  She would make a great reining horse or dressage mount, but right now is enjoying being a broodmare for us.  S Dia loves to have babies and is a wonderful mother.  She has had three fillies so far.  Two 3/4 Andalusians and one Friesian cross all have had great minds and super athletic abilities. She is not for a beginner as she is very smart, but could make someone a great reining horse or broodmare. She is for sale to the right home for $5,000 not in foal, $8,000 in foal.  She also sales with a breeding to our stallion Gladiador for a 50% chance of chestnut or palomino foal.  Also a large potential for roaning or pinto markings.

Dia is registered with the IALHA as a Half-Andalusian and I am in the process of getting her registered with the Iberian Warmblood Registry and the American Azteca Association.

Dia in September 2007. Enjoying the cooler weather here in the DC area. You can really see her dapples in these photos.

After a long wait we finally remembered to bring the camera out and get photos of Dia.  These are from July 28.

Dia had a 2006 filly by Abacus Uno the Friesian Stallion from Abacus Farms in California.  This filly is very beautiful, but will be a big girl!  Selene is for sale if you are interested contact Katie Barrett, Selene will be quite a phenomenal horse!

Dia is the full sister to Rio and the mother to Mackenzie. We really love the Fiero x Crystal Daybreak combination.  Diane still has some of the younger foals from this cross available.  They are palomino paints and just as stunning as their older siblings.
